holy moly!

so here we are, 23 days until kavitha and i take off on our bonanza of a trip. somehow, amongst the hectic schedule that is the MBA, we have made progress on planning the trip. some developments:

- we are now vaccinated and medicated! (phew, yellow fever)
- our flights in south america are, for the most part, booked! santiago, montevideo, buenos aires, easter island, here we come!
- arti, bossmat, and potentially cheryl may join us on the trip.

and on a personal note, i have secured a hideously coloured rain coat:

march 14 - just over a month to go!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! After much of a kerfuffle, we finally booked our flights from Sao Paulo to Rio. Thanks to the awesome Portugese skillllzzz of Monica. We have about 54 more logistical days to plan, eeesh.

planning.....T-9 weeks

well, here we are, 9 weeks away from liftoff! kt and i have had meetings (yes, we are nerds!) to plan where/what we would see on our trip to south america. so far, it looks like we are hitting the following countries:

brazil
uruguay
argentina
chile
bolivia
peru

it's going to be a busy, busy two months with tons of travelling. in some cases, some bus rides take over 20 hours! ouch!

we just bought our plane tickets last week, and we plan on departing the second last week of april and returning in time to stroll across the podium for convocation. muy exciting? i think so.
